Poor Customer Service

Ordered the Hearing aids from United Healtcare Virtual Service. Turns out that is just an interface to Jabra. Was charged $1,298 for (2) hearing aids. After that, crickets. No one knows where the hearing aids are, where the order is, or how to refund my money. UnitedHealtcare points to Jabra as the problem, and Jabra points back to United Healthcare. Multiple attempts to contact either company results in hours on hold. Doing my best now just to get a refund.

Absolutely terrible service - They don't know what they are doing.

Broke hearing aid 5 months ago. Called 6 times and received 6 completely different stories. Finally was tested at a local office and paid for the hearing aid. That was 4 weeks ago. The provider explained that UHH said it was in "process". UHH said that the provider hasn't acted. That is a flat out lie. UHH is either a broken company or they are deliberately delaying and lying about the situation. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Supportive service & high quality hearing aids

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
United Healthcare Hearing reprogrammed my 4 year old hearing aids to accommodate changed hearing, provided free shipping, replaced broken battery door, returned them with many new batteries, new sets of cannula tubes, cleaning wires. I expected a $40+ charge, but they did All of this at no charge.

User's recommendation: If your insurance covers hearing aids through United Healthcare they were the lowest priced option in 2019 and the customer service of them is excellent in 2023

Impossible and incompetant

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Im on month four waiting for hearing aids. They sent wrong aids, then wrong tubes and the latest dont work for me. Ive been a hearing aid user for decades. The worst part is I have to use them because I showed the audiologist my insurance card and went through their system. Might have to leave these poor audiologists (who are as unhappy as I am) and go elsewhere and start all over again. Unbelievable.

They do not stand behind their product after you pay for it

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They were on the phone and FaceTime with me every day till I bought a hearing aid with promises of free adjustments and guaranteed it would work. After paying for it there were no calls, FaceTime and would not return my calls , emails or text messages. I would never ever give them a recommendation. I've had it less than a year and it won't even charge any more.

Bad hearing aid

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Purchased my second set of hearing aids on May 9th 2019. The left won was fine the one in the right ear had to be sent back shortly after purchase. After waiting two and a half weeks to get it back it worked for a short time had to be sent back again. Once again I waited another two and half weeks to get it back. The third time I sent it back they told me it was no longer under warranty Three times I called them about it and could not get any satisfaction from anyone. This is awful company.
